S. L. Sibert Company, Inc: A Historical Perspective

The S. L. Sibert Company, Inc. was built on an idea, quality personnel, and efficient work ethics. Rita and Sam Sibert started the S. L. Sibert Company in August of 1993 and by 1994 S. L. Sibert was incorporated by the State of Texas.

The S. L. Sibert Company, Inc. is currently a primary contractor for the Texas Utilities and Electric Company (TXU). The partnership between S. L. Sibert and TXU began in 1994 after signing a blanket contract with TXU to provide electrical system construction. In 1995 Sibert expanded its construction base by signing a contract with Southwestern Bell Telephone to provide installation of phone cables to the Metropolitan area. This contract gave Sibert the ability to explore new fields of construction.

In 1996 S. L. Sibert became a prime contractor for TXU installing electrical services to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Sibert widen the field in 1999 by including gas services to its rapidly expanding range of capabilities when they signed an Alliance Contract with TXU-Gas. Under the Alliance Contract Sibert installs new gas services in the Western Regions of Dallas and Fort Worth exclusively. In 2001 Sibert was able to showcase its advanced techniques in Directional Boring by completing a highly profiled water-line replacement job for Colleyville, Texas using a specific Boring method. The Colleyville water-line replacement was the first job of its kind completed in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The S. L. Sibert Company, Inc. recently acquired Phoenix Design Build, an engineering firm. This acquisition provides S. L. Sibert with Structural Design and Engineering support as well as management in new areas of the construction arena. The merger between these two companies will prove to be and explosive combination. In 2002 and beyond S. L. Sibert will continue to meet and exceed all expectations.
